School Motto

The motto of the School is "Truth and Charity". This ideal is set before the pupils, who are trained to face the truth at all times, live in sincerity and honesty. Thus, their genuineness will lead them to love all and to be loved by all. The teacher-pupil relationship which is fostered in our school is one of love, kindness, firmness, justice, sympathy and care.

Vision & Goal

Sacred Heart English Medium School is a Roman Catholic Institution which was founded on 18th June 1964. The School, which is a minority institution, is run by the Society of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary, T.S.

It endeavors to give the children an all-round education – academic, physical, moral and spiritual – primarily for the children of the officers of the Singareni Collieries Company and also to other children irrespective of religion or race. Children of all denominations are admitted into the school with respect to freedom of conscience, and they are expected to conform to the moral standards of the school.

As the very fabric of peace and harmony is being torn apart in society, children are given life’s lessons and ethical values are imparted to them along with academics under the aegis of loving teachers. We ensure that a child leaves the portals of Sacred Heart with a sense of belongingness and fulfillment, confidence and achievement.

The school stands for academic excellence, development of skills and character formation, based on the love of God and service to humanity as modeled on Jesus Christ, with the view of training citizens distinguished for their all-round development and sincere commitment to God and country.
